TWILIGHT

So what is all this Twilight business you see everywhere. You know the book with the apple. Well it's a movie made from a book for young readers. Twilight series by Stephenie Meyer. My BFF's came to the gym and wanted to go eat. We went to PF Changs at La Cantera. YUMMY!! Afterwards we decided to go see a movie at the Palladium. So we decided to see Twilight, all I knew was it was a vampire movie. I have never been obsessed with vampires, but I did like the CBS show Moonlight. It only lasted one season :( Well after the movie I stopped by HEB to get a few things and stopped by the books and decided to pick it up. As soon as I got home I started to read it!! At 6am I decided I should go to bed.

Turkey Day

Happy Thanksgiving!! Going to the In-Laws house!!

Maddi competed at Aerials. Another great meet!! We need to move to Level 5!!!

Maddi Rocks!!

Maddi competed at District Championship where she competed against 203 other Level 4's. She did Awesome!! 1st place out of 203 girls!!

Maddi competed at Powerhouse on Saturday. She did great!!

My poor baby

On Monday Maddi had a accident in the gym. She was vaulting and her foot caught the mat they were jumping over to hit the spring board. She got 4 stitches under her nose, 3 stitches on her lip and knocked out a baby tooth.

TOPs Testing

We will be traveling to Mesquite, Tx for TOPs Testing this Saturday. Maddi will timed on a 20 meter sprint, 6ft rope climb (no legs), handstand hold, press handstands, Cast handstand, shoulder flexibility, vertical jump, right/left splits.

TOPs (Talent Opportunity Program), is a talent search and educational program for female gymnast ages 7-11 and their coaches. During the months of June and July gymnasts age 7-11 are evaluated on physical abilities at the state or regional level.

My New Old Blog --

My old Blog was with Typepad so I'm in the process of transferring all my old posts to Blogger. I'm sure it will take me a while. I was with Typepad since December 2005. My old Blog was called Perfectly Pink, That name was taken with Blogger so I decided to go with 4m2g -- For my two girls!!! I have the cutest 2 girls, Maddi and Emmy!!!

South Padre Bound

Our gym is hosting a meet in S.Padre this weekend and this will be Maddi's 1st Level 4 meet. She just learned her level 4 floor routine 2 days ago. I don't know who is more nervous me or her. There won't be much time for play, we are working the whole meet. Hopefully we can squeeze in some fun time. I will post meet results when we get back!!!
