Grandpa and Grandma with the cows

My in-laws {aka grandpa and grandma with the cows}came to visit us today. We exchanged gifts and then we went and ate at Logan's. We hurried back home so Maddi could show off her driving skills to grandma and grandpa. She loves driving in the cul-de-sac because there are 2 little boys that have a black corvette. They play follow the leader and have little races. It's hysterical!! Maddi thinks she is hot stuff. It was a great visit. Grandparents are always the best audience. They clap and cheer no matter what you do. Gotta get some stuff done.

The Day After!!!

Ok Christmas has come and gone and I still have not sent out my Christmas cards. But if I get them out my News Years it is still considered the Holiday season, right?!? OH yeah and I still have not sent out Emily's Birth Announcements. I guess the addition of another child has been a little crazy for me, but I love being a mommy to 2 healthy sweet cute lovable little girlie's. I feel so blessed!!
Santa delivered the goods. Madison had one PINK corvette next to the Christmas tree. Her reaction wasn't what we thought it would be. She was happy, but It's like she really knew she was getting that car. She had a blast opening up all her gifts and Emily's too. She wanted to go ride her car outside. Thank goodness the weather was absolutely wonderful. I don't know if we have had a cold day this month. Maddi was a pro at driving that car. Watch out Jeff Gordon!! Well she has had a little practice driving Grandpa's golf cart. It was a wonderful day spent with family. Well I better get back to the Family.

The most wonderful time of year!!

I just love the holiday season. I love seeing all the decorations, hearing the Christmas carols. The other day I went to Hobby Lobby and there was a huge line to checkout. Maddi felt like entertaining everybody by singing Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer. I'm sure everybody thought it was cute until the 20th time. Oh did I mention she only knows the first 4 or 5 lines. It was great, slow cashier, b!tchy people in line, and my child singing Rudolph over and over. I just love the holiday season.

Santa Visit, AGAIN!!

So I had to go to the mall and pick up some gifts well Maddi just had to go see Santa again. She had to give Santa the updated Christmas list. We had already visited Santa like 3 weeks ago (with no wait), But since that visit things have changed. Nothing like a trip to Toys r us, with a big stinkin pink corvette right as you walk in the door. So back to our trip to the mall. Maddi just had to go see him again and tell him she no longer wanted the Cinderella baking kitchen (santa prolly wouldn't have gotten that anyway she has the potterybarn kitchen set). Well we waited in a 25 minute line just to tell Santa that she now wants a pink corvette. The things we do for our kids!!! And of course I wanted a pic of that cuz its a cute story to tell in a scrapbook. If you want to take a picture they request you buy a package. Well I was just there 3 weeks ago, and bought a overpriced low quality picture. Well I snapped a pic anyway. I must go see what Maddi is getting into.

Not so Sparkly!!!

Well yesterday was the Sparklers Christmas party. The girls were gonna do a gift exchange. I bought this cute little princess purse with lip gloss and nail polish. I knew Maddi would love it , any girl would, right?? Ms. Andria was rounding up the girls to do the exchange. I guess Maddi didn't understand the concept of gift exchange. She was highly upset she did not get the present we had brought, and threw a huge fit. I was MORTIFIED!!! I can just imagine what the other mom's were thinking. I'm sure it went something like "SPOILED BRAT". I just wanted to crawl in the carrier with my 2 month old and hide behind her. One of Maddi's little friends got the gift we brought, and she was really disappointed. Let's fast forward to the happy ending -- Maddi switched gifts with her friend and then everybody lived happily ever after. That's enough for now.

Oh My Gawsh!!!

OK so here is what happened at Maddi's dance class today. There is 2 boys in Maddi's class. One boy is named Joshua - a sweet boy who actually seems like he wants to be there. He listens to everything the teacher says. Then there is Jamie -- a boy who does not want to be there, he is always doing the opposite of what the teacher ask. At least 2 or 3 times she has to go to him and tell him to start doing what everybody else is doing. It is very annoying, And I'm not the only parent who complains about him. I didn't invite him to Mad's party, I just didn't want him there to ruin it. I know that sounds bad but The mom who had the party the day after Mad's didn't invite him either. He is that bad!! So we had to be kinda sneaky with the invites. Now that you have the back story. So they had there recital last Saturday. Today is a fun class day, they got to perform there routine one more time, then we had a party. I asked his Mom If she was going to put him in Dance in the fall when he is in Kindergarten. Here is how it went down.

Me -- Are you gonna put Jamie in Dance in the fall

Her -- I don't know , If he wants to.

Me -- oh ok

Her -- He just really loves it.

Me -- um yeah

Her -- If I hear one more parent say I should have Jamie in gymnastics every time I mention he is in Dance , I'm gonna scream.

ME -- " i'm thinking they prolly know how your kid is" I said Gymnastics is great , Maddi loves it. It is so active It's completely different she is constantly moving. Cartwheels, front rolls, back rolls, jumps, trampoline, etc...

Her -- I don't think Gymnastics is anymore physical than ballet and tap! Gymnastics is unnatural -- when will you see someone doing a back flip in a club.

Me -- I'm thinking "Are you freakin kidding me" but I said when you think about it when are you going to see someone doing an Arabesque in a club.

Her -- (sounding really irritated) Jamie is in Dance because I want him in Dance!!

Me -- SPEECHLESS --- I couldn't even speak because I was like aha She wants Jamie in Dance. I wondered if that was the first time she admitted that out loud.

I have nothing against boys dancing, Ballet wouldn't be the same with no males. But come on if your boy is always sitting and rolling on the floor when everybody else is in 1st position. Get a freaking clue, Hello!!?!! whew that was a long one. I'm sure the spring semester will hold lots more stories. Or Maybe we will get lucky and she will put him in GYMNASTICS. I can dream can't I? I'm outie

Happy 4th Birthday Madison!!!

Happy Birthday My Sweet Madison Madison is officially 4 today. I can't tell her Happy Birthday, because her response would be Silly Mommy my birthday is not today it was when I had my party. We decided to not to confuse her and give her 2 birthdays, so we celebrated it when we had her party. I went today and picked up her pink corvette at toys r us before they ran out. We had to be a little sneaky putting it together and hiding it in the garage. We went to Macy's pajama birthday party at Pump it up (a really neat place with inflatables for the kids to play on). Macy is one of her bestest friends from gymnastics. She was so tired after 2 hrs of jumping, she passed out on the way home. Well I need to try to get some sleep before Emily wants to eat. We have dance class tomorrow , early wake up for us. nite-nite

****** RECITAL**********

Oh my!!! My little Maddi is such a natural born performer. She loves the stage. She can't wait for the next recital. Everything went great. The cutest dances to watch are the 2 yr olds they are so adorable. Madison did awesome, she remembered all the choreography. In the pic to the left Rebecca, Joshua, and Madison. It seems all I ever do is talk about how wonderful Maddi is, well she is to me. You never know how much you can love another human being until you have a child. Little Miss Emily slept through it all. I wonder if Emily will love dance as much as Maddi?? Time will tell!! After the recital we went to our favorite restaurant Pappasitos. Madison was still entertaining everybody at the table. She is a firecracker!!!

The party was great!!

The party was awesome!! Well we did get there late, but the Mom's that were there really helped get things set up. And of course Ms. Kelly was Aweome as usual and such a big help. Everyone had a blast. The kiddos were non stop running having fun!! Oh my gosh to have that much energy. I just loved watching them have so much fun. Check out the party photo album. Madison is getting so big. I have a hard time believing she is gonna be 4. Emily is getting big and I want her to stay my little baby forever :o) She slept through all the chaos for about 30 minutes. Then she switched from Grandma to Grandma and I think Grandpa held her too. The best part for Maddi was all the presents. I have such mixed feeling about letting her open up presents in front of the other children, I feel bad for them having to sit there and watch all these toys being given to another child. I don't know something just feels weird to me about that. She couldn't wait to get home to start playing with all her cool stuff. I must go my munchkin Emily is getting the munchies!!

It's party time

Tomorrow is Maddi's 4th Birthday party. Her birthday really isn't until the 11th but her Dance recital is on the 10th. We wanted to spread stuff out because December is such a crazy month. She is so excited!!! We are having her party at Capital gymnastics, which she loves!! We are so excited because Ms. Kelly is going to be working the party, yippee!! Kelly was Madison's first gymnastics coach and she is the Awesome. Madison has been in gymnastics about a year. In September she was invited to join the Sparklers which is their invitational class, woohoo! She was so happy running around saying "I'm a SPARKLER!!" It's a tough class. The first 30 min is muscle strengthening and the last 30 min is practicing. Back to the Party stuff, I ordered a cute Barbie princess cake she wanted. And of course all the plates, napkins, and cups are all Disney Princess. Instead of little goodie bags with all that cheap filler toys that break , I bought beanie babies to give out. Will see how the party goes. fingers crossed. Gotta run. Last minute preparations.

Here we go... Off to Blogland!!

Finally I made it here. I have been a lurker on many blogs and have wanted to start my own. I just couldn't come up with a name that I liked until a couple days ago. The story to come later, but I LOVE PINK!!! In a perfect world everything would be pink!!! So I thought "perfectly PINK" would be a perfect name for my blog. Anyone that knows me knows that I love PINK, and I have a 4 year old SaSSy Princess who lives for pink things. Oh the stories I have to tell "Maddi's Pink Tales." One of which helped name this blog. Well this post is short and sweet just like my new little bundle of pink Emily. I'm off to change a diaper.
